Prayer of St.Ephrem (305-373A.D.)

O Lord and Master of my life, remove from me a spirit of idleness, discouragement, lust for power and vain speech.

Give me instead the Spirit of charity, meekness, patience and love.

Grant my Lord and King that I may realize my own transgressions, and not judge my brothers and sisters. For you are blessed now and always and to the ages of ages.
